Engine…Start
GPS…Ready
Oh no it’s a Red Light….
Sup! If any of yall have a Droid, please don’t rely on your Droid GPS systems because they send you places you don’t wanna go. On my way across the city of Houston, I ended up at a toll road with no money! Upon reaching the toll road, I saw the sign…”Sam Houston Tollway”…but I didn’t think I would have to pay a Toll! Surprise! Here is a hesitant conversation I had with myself as I approached the Toll window:
A Moment in the Life of Frank Raymond:
(Going at about 84mph, I see Toll Windows)
“What the Feezy?”
“O Snap! I ain’t got no money for this…Exact Change? I’m broke!”
(Slowing down to about 35mph and slower as I reach the window)
“Ooo yea I might can use my Debit Card.”
“No I can’t use that! The sign says exact change.”
(Slowly approaching the window as people in front of me pay their toll and drive off)
“Maybe I can keep goin’…that’s what my dad does…”
“I can’t do that! Their gonna catch the license plate on camera…shoot!”
“Aw man they got people behind me! Ha! They might be stuck for a while.”
(Looking under the radio)
“Oooo my mom has some change in here…I’m gonna use this and take the next exit…whew!”
“Aw this ain’t enough!”
(Approaches the toll window)
“Ahhh…mam I’m broke. My navigation system brought me here!”
I approached the toll window with a few cent and my debit card. No, she didn’t take debit but I did manage to bail myself out of that situation. LoL! Hope I don’t receive a ticket in the mail. Afterwords, I took the next exit and GPS rerouted me.
Forget all that! Now to the good stuff….
Macaroni, Fish, and Potato Salad…featuring Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream. Smells good huh? That’s what me and some old friends of mine had for lunch last Sunday. Their not just friends, they are family who I haven’t seen in 5 years! Let me introduce them:
Mrs. Elder:
was my 6th Grade teacher back in New Orleans.
Reverend (Pastor) Elder:
-a great mentor.
Mrs. Hinton
-she has declared me her cousins. That’s WusSup!
(I used to be shorter than the above people. Now they’re the short ones. Ha!)
Mr. Hinton:
-very cool guy. He gave me 5 dollars to take the toll road back home. (The speed lane is the bomb!)
Kristian:
-Killed me in Modern Warfare 2 (A PS3 game). It’s all good though; I’ll be back.
There is something about seeing people after not seeing them in a while…They get shorter…and some (who used to be shorter) get a lil’ taller. LoL!
If you know people who you haven’t seen in a while, but you wanna see them; then you should go visit them! I’m sure they’d probably Love to see you. Or maybe they won’t. LoL!
Mrs. Hinton said, and I quote: “Don’t be a stranger Frank”
To Mrs. Elder, Pastor (Elder), Mrs. Hinton, Mr. Hinton, and Kristian…
Thanks for havin’ me over! And I enjoyed yall.
-Love, Frank
