Journey of Love

Today in English class we had to write a poem about Love and we only had about 30 minutes to do it. This is one of the very few school assignments that I actually took seriously. LoL! After I was done I kinda liked what I wrote so I’m gonna share it with yall!

Journey of Love

All souls as one, is the goal of Love.

Love flows like a dove, and glows in every heart.

Every heart, apart of one beat,

Like feet against wet cement,

the beat last forever.

Love is invisible but undeniable,

Love is a gift from God,

and is not buy-able.

Love mates, multiplying time after time,

and is fully capable of overcoming hate.

There are infinite multitudes of Love,

flowing through the infinate inner spirits of man,

and woman.

To say that love dies,

is to say that God is dead.

To deny Love,

is to deny God the source.

God is Love,

who is high in my heart.

Do yall like it?! Is it set up right?! LoL! I’m not familiar with poetry but I just might start posting poetry here every now and then.
